General Characteristics of Hastelloy S™

Hastelloy S™ is a high-heat, nickel-based alloy that exhibits exceptional thermal stability and high-heat mechanical properties while resisting oxidation up to 2000°F (1093°C). With simple heat treatment, Hastelloy S™ will exhibit high-heat and thermal fatigue strength. It maintains its ductility and strength after aging at 1600°F (871°C) for long periods under stress, and can be hot and cold worked readily.
