General Characteristics of Incoloy™ 832

Cost-efficient Incoloy™ 832 is formulated for sheathed heater applications. Its alloying elements result in good surface oxide, allowing it to serve as a replacement for Type 309 stainless steel, Incoloy™ 800 and Incoloy™ 840.  It’s ideal for continuous strip welding and resists pitting and hot salt corrosion.
